# Storelane Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information Storelane collects, how it is used, and
the choices available to creators and customers.

## Information we collect

We collect information creators provide directly, including account details,
storefront content, product information, support messages, and contact form
submissions. We may also collect usage, device, browser, and performance data.

## Google Calendar data

When you connect Google Calendar, you authorize Storelane to create, update, and
delete booking events on Google Calendars you own. Storelane uses this access
only for requested scheduling features, including creating appointment events,
inviting customers, sending event updates, generating Google Meet links when
selected, and updating or canceling Storelane-created events after a booking is
rescheduled, refunded, or canceled.

Storelane does not use Google Calendar data for advertising, marketing, user
profiling, or training generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning
models. If you disconnect your Google account or revoke access, Storelane stops
accessing your calendar. Stored Google OAuth credentials are deleted or revoked
within a reasonable period unless retention is required for security, fraud
prevention, or legal compliance.

Google Calendar data is not sold or shared with third parties except when
needed to provide the requested service through Google's APIs or when required
by law.

## Third-party integrations

Creators can optionally connect third-party services after explicitly
authorizing Storelane. Depending on the integration, Storelane may use:

- Google Calendar to create, update, and manage booking events.
- Google Meet to generate meeting links for scheduled appointments.
- Zoom to schedule meetings or webinars associated with bookings.
- Stripe to process payments, payouts, refunds, and subscription billing.
- Other supported integrations to provide features the creator explicitly
  enables.

Storelane accesses only the data and permissions needed for the requested
functionality. Data obtained through integrations is not used for advertising,
marketing, user profiling, or training generalized AI or machine learning
models.

You may disconnect an integration through Storelane or the provider. After
revocation, Storelane no longer accesses new data from that service. Stored
credentials are deleted or revoked within a reasonable period unless retention
is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. Each
provider's own terms and privacy policy also apply.

## How we use information

We use information to operate Storelane, authenticate users, host storefronts,
process creator workflows, provide support, improve reliability, prevent abuse,
and communicate service updates.

## Payments and service providers

Third-party payment processors may handle payment details. We may share
certain account, usage, and storefront information with vendors that provide
hosting, analytics, email, payment, security, infrastructure, and support
services. This general vendor sharing never includes Google user data. Google
Calendar data and other data obtained through Google APIs are used and shared
only as described in the "Google Calendar data" and "Google API limited use"
sections — solely to provide and improve the user-facing booking features you
request — and are never shared with analytics, advertising, email marketing, or
other vendors for any other purpose.

## Storefront customers

When a customer buys from or contacts a creator, information related to the
purchase or request may be made available to that creator for fulfillment or a
response.

## Google API limited use

Storelane's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres
to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use
requirements. Storelane uses Google user data only to provide and improve the
user-facing booking and scheduling features that the creator requests.
Storelane does not use or transfer Google user data for serving advertisements,
does not sell Google user data, does not use it for any form of marketing, user
profiling, or analytics beyond the requested features, and does not use it to
train generalized AI or machine learning models. Storelane does not allow
humans to read Google user data unless we have the creator's explicit consent
for specific data, it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating
abuse, to comply with applicable law, or the data has been aggregated and
anonymized.

## Retention and security

We retain information as needed to provide the service, comply with legal
obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. We
protect sensitive data, including Google Calendar data and Google OAuth
credentials, using the following mechanisms:

- All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher (HTTPS).
- Google OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256.
- Access to sensitive data is restricted to authorized personnel on a
least-privilege, need-to-know basis and protected by authentication and
  access controls.
- Each creator's data is logically isolated to their own account.
- We monitor and review our systems to detect and respond to unauthorized
  access.

Disconnecting Google Calendar stops future access. Creators can request
deletion of stored Google integration data by emailing
contact@getstorelane.com. No internet service can guarantee perfect security.

## Your choices

You can request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information
by emailing contact@getstorelane.com. Legal, security, or operational
requirements may limit some requests.

## Account deletion

You may delete your Storelane account through the application or by contacting
Storelane. We permanently delete or anonymize personal information within a
reasonable period, except where retention is required or permitted to comply
with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce agreements, or meet
legitimate business and accounting obligations.

Completed transactions, invoices, payment records, tax information, or security
logs may be retained for the required period. Retained records are securely
stored and are not used for marketing. Storelane revokes or deletes credentials
for connected services such as Google Calendar or Zoom and stops accessing
those services after account deletion.
